I am originally from Zambia, but I have lived in Sweden for 12 years so I feel at home here too.
What do you like most about your country?
The wildlife and national parks
If you would recommend one place for a tourist to visit in your country, where would that be?
South Luangwa National Park

During some of my school years but certainly not always!
What was your dream job when you were a youngster?
To be a safari guide or a politician

Doing something creative!

Safe
What is your role at the IESL?
I teach English in year 7 (I only work part time this year)
What made you decide to join IESL?
My family was moving to Lund and IESL seemed like a good opportunity for me to try teaching lower secondary school.
What did you do before you started at IESL?
Taught at the International Baccalaureate Programme at Katedralskolan Uppsala
What are your challenges at IESL?
Working with younger students than I have before
Do you have any clear visions you would like to achieve?
I love working with literature, so I would like to incorporate that into my teaching as much as possible!

In the bush in Zambia or IESL!

Be honest, try your best, don’t overdo it!

All children get to go to school, the health care, it’s safe and calm
What do you prefer to eat?
Food from all over the world but mostly Indian food

I would bring my husband Illiam, a copy of the complete works of Emily Dickinson, my leatherman (multitool)
What is the most peculiar thing you have done?
Rescued a baby warthog.

Elephant polo
