What do you like most about your country?
The beaches and the snow.
If you would recommend one place for a tourist to visit in your country, where would that be?
The south of Sweden and all the nice beaches or maybe Stockholm during summertime.
Where you an A student?
Yes of course.
What was your dream job when you were a youngster?
A veterinarian or journalist.
When you have one day off at home, how would you spend it?
Probably with cleaning and doing laundry….with two kids and a dog there is always work to be done!! And I would spend time with my family of course, preferably outdoors!
How would you network and meet new friends in a new country?
Join the gym!
How would you describe Lund in three words?
University town, bicycles and cultural!
What is your role at the IESL?
I teach Spanish and Swedish.
What made you decide to join IESL?
The structure and the discipline of the school really appealed to me. I like the fact that we all strive for the students to command the English language, have a safe and orderly environment in which teacher can teach and students can learn and that we have high academic expectations for every student. So far I’m very satisfied with the students, my colleagues and the whole “IES-spirit”.
What did you do before you started at IESL?
I worked as a teacher at another school for 14 years.
Where are you in three years time?
Hopefully still at IES Lund.
Name one unexpected similarity you have with one of your colleagues
Both me and Ms Ruchti are gym instructors in our spare time.

Be prepared, be concentrated and always do your best!
Name 3 things you find best about Sweden
Parental leave, good food and a pretty clean and well organized country.
What do you prefer to eat?
My husbands barbecued hamburger and sweets of any kind:)
Who is the most famous person you have met?
Carola, the Swedish singer!
What sport would you never practice?
What TV show(s) are you a bit embarrassed to tell that you are watching?
Too many to be mentioned…. I’m a TV addict!
