The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a link between the parent community and the school, enabling and facilitating communication between and among the parents and the teachers and school. Through regular meetings with class representatives and school management we work to ensure that we have an open and constructive dialogue with all in school.

School is much more than classes, homework and assessments. It is a place where students lay a foundation for their future, make friends for life and have experiences which help form them on their way to adulthood. The PTA works towards supporting the extracurricular activities to ensure that student’s experience at the school will be a positive memory for life. Parents’ and guardians’ positive engagement is crucial for the success of a school and its students. Positive engagement fosters a great working environment for teachers, increasing motivation and loyalty. Positive engagement helps students feel proud of their school and supported to take on the challenges that the IES offers. The PTA is an integral part of making this happen: channelling parental energy and supporting the different initiatives brought forward by the school.

PTA activities in more details will be presented during the parents’ meetings.
